QA Manager

Shanghai

Responsibilities

  1. Build the overall project quality assurance system, defining test strategies, process standards, and automated testing frameworks
  2. Lead functional and performance testing of core modules such as large-scale 3D scenes, physics engines (rigid body/fluid/cloth), and real-time rendering pipelines
  3. Design and execute stress tests, compatibility tests, and long-run stability tests for scenarios such as high concurrency, large scene loading, and physics computation stability
  4. Build and maintain automated testing platforms (integrated with CI/CD), promote shift-left testing, and improve R&D efficiency
  5. Manage the QA team, coordinate version test plans, and be accountable for delivery quality
  6. Work closely with physics engine, GPU driver, and product teams, and participate deeply in requirements reviews and technical solution design

Requirements

  1. 3+ years of game testing experience and 1+ year of test management experience, with full-cycle testing participation in at least one MMO PC/mobile game
  2. Familiar with game engine testing (Unity/Unreal preferred), with in-depth testing experience in physics collision, scene loading, synchronization mechanisms, and frame rate optimization
  3. Hands-on performance testing experience, proficient in using PerfDog, UE Insights, Unity Profiler, or in-house tools for bottleneck localization
  4. Experience building automated testing frameworks (Python/C++/Lua) and familiar with CI tools such as Jenkins/GitLab CI
  5. Familiar with Linux environments, with server stress testing experience (JMeter/in-house tools) and understanding of distributed system testing methods
  6. Awareness of or interest in physics simulation, digital twins, or embodied AI, and willing to transition from gaming to the hard-tech track

Bonus Points

  • Testing or development experience with physics engines (PhysX/Havok/Bullet/Chaos)
  • Familiarity with GPU rendering pipelines, shader performance analysis, or graphics fundamentals
  • White-box testing ability to read C++/Python code for logic coverage analysis
  • Testing experience with industrial simulation, digital twins, robotics, or autonomous driving simulation platforms
